🎯 The Goal
The goal of the project was to design a mobile app for a family restaurant that streamlines the ordering process, improves menu navigation and enhances user engagement using a clean interface.
🧩 The Problem
Ordering food from family restaurants on mobile apps can often feel clunky, overwhelming or outdated for busy families and young professionals. Users need a faster, more intuitive way to browse the menu and place an order without confusion or delays.
🧱 Lo-fi Wireframes
I began by sketching out core user flows, focusing on clarity and ease of navigation for the menu and ordering process.

Initial wireframes to map out the layout and ordering flow.
🎨 Hi-fi Wireframes
After refining the structure, I moved onto the hi-fidelity design. The final UI prioritizes simplicity and quick access to frequently ordered items.

🪞 Reflection
This class project gave me the opportunity to walk through a full UX/UI design process from start to finish. I practiced turning user research into thoughtful design decisions, built a consistent interface with accessibility in mind, gained confidence in presenting and refining my work. It also helped me understand the importance of aligning user needs with clear, structured user flows. As I move into professional projects, I’m excited to bring this foundation into real-world scenarios and continue growing through collaboration, feedback and iteration.
